  • What is the timeline?
    We aim to deliver within two months. Investing a significant amount is a crucial decision for VC firms, requiring thorough due diligence that typically takes one to six months. Therefore, we emphasize securing multiple deals. You can expedite the process by making the system easy and transparent for due diligence and decision-making.
  • Do you develop Pitchdeck, do due-diligence, business planning or financial projection etc?
    No, even though we can create your pitch deck and financial projections for a fee, we believe businesses achieve more success in fundraising when they do it themselves, guided by their vision. Based on our experience, we offer suggestions for financial structuring and negotiation if needed.
  • Do you work with exclusivity clause?
    In most cases, we don't ask for exclusivity. However, if you seek to dedicate significant effort and focus, you may request exclusivity for three months. This will encourage us to actively promote your brand across our VC/PE network for fundraising and allocate more resources. Ultimately, the decision is yours.
  • What is minimum pre-requisite of your company?
    For Deep-Technology 1. Working prototype or MVP. 2. Minimum 1 patent filed or granted. 3. At least 3 pilot programs or beta customers. 4. Founding team with a minimum of 10 years of combined industry experience. Preferred: 1. At least 2 strategic partnerships with industry leaders. 2. Path to regulatory approval within 12 months. 3. Addressable market of at least $1 billion. For Marketplace 1. Minimum 10,000 monthly active users (MAUs). 2. GMV growth rate of 20% month-over-month. 3. At least $20,000 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR). 4. User retention rate of 40% after 6 months. Preferred: 1. 25% of new users acquired through referrals. 2. CAC below $10 with a lifetime value (LTV) of at least $50. For D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) 1. Minimum of 5,000 monthly active customers. 2. ARR of at least $100,000. 3. Customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 50 or higher. 4. Gross margin of at least 60%. Preferred: 1. 30% repeat purchase rate within 3 months. 2. 2<CAC:LTV<5 3. Order fulfillment time under 7 days. For IoT-Based Products 1. Functional prototype with 3 successful pilot tests. 2. Minimum 5 pilot customers or early adopters. 3. Team with at least 5 years of combined IoT experience. Preferred: 1. 2 strategic partnerships with technology or hardware providers. 2. Compliance with industry-standard security protocols. 3. Compatibility with at least 3 major platforms or systems. For Manufacturing Units 1.Capacity to produce at least units worth of $100,000 per month. 2. ARR : $100,000 in revenue. 3. ISO 9001 certification or equivalent. Preferred: 1. 95% on-time delivery rate. 2. Annual R&D investment of at least 5% of revenue. (expected 30%) 3. Top 3 market position in niche segment.
  • What is your role in the whole process?
    Historically, businesses have dedicated founding members to fundraising, often reaching out to many investors without checking their current status or investment thesis. With our access to past data and various investment theses, we identify the right VC/PE firms, connect with them, and share your pitch deck to secure meetings. We also assist in structuring your deal to obtain funding quickly and achieve the best possible terms.
  • What is your role in the whole process?

  • What is your general fees?
    At Food Seed Tech, our mission is to build the strongest ecosystem for the next round of fundraising for our portfolio startups. Therefore, we primarily work on a success fee basis. If additional focus is desired, we may request a basic retainer. The choice is entirely yours.
  • Why are you so selective? How many startups do you choose each month?
    Our ambition is to achieve maximum homeruns or 100x ROI, building an environment where VCs trust our selections. We aim to save time, maintain strong relationships, and create an efficient ecosystem for rapid fundraising.
